Dr Marius Simon is currently a lecturer in Foundation Phase Mathematics and in the Method of Mathematics in the Senior Phase in the School of Science and Mathematics Education at the University of the Western Cape. His research interest is in the analysis of learners' ways of working with school mathematics using ethnomethodology and the sociology of science
